The EOC EU Office team is in Bucharest for the 53rd European Olympic Committees (EOC) General Assembly (GA). Over two days, discussions revolve around the upcoming sport events (i.e. Paris 2024 Olympic Games, European Youth Olympic Festival 2025, European Games 2027), and recent topical developments such as the Olympic AI Agenda. The EOC EU Office’s activities and successes were presented to the Assembly by Folker Hellmund, and further praised by EOC President Spyros Capralos, CEO Jan Lehmann, and EOC EU and International Relations Commission José Manuel Araujo. Additionally, the Janez Kocijančič Award and Piotr Nurowski Prize honored some of the best (young) European athletes.
