From 29 October to 1 November, the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) General Assembly, is taking place in Cascais, Portugal. The EOC EU Office had the opportunity to present the OCEAN project, outlining its objectives, achievements to date, and forthcoming deliverables. The OCEAN Carbon Footprint Measurement and Reduction Tool, available for all 206 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and sport organisations from December 2024, to measure, visualize, and set targets in line with UN Sport for Climate Action goals was introduced to representatives from the IOC, NOCs, International Federations. The OCEAN project was also showcased at the Sustainability Booth, enabling participants to inquire further about the project and its tools.
