On 19 February, the OCEAN Consortium convened for its seventh Consortium Call, bringing together Climate Action Officers from 18 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) to review the significant progress made, particularly in the finalisation of Carbon Footprint Reduction Strategies, which will be publicly available on the OCEAN Toolbox platform from May 2025. Tobias Wagner from Öko-Institut provided key updates on the Carbon Footprint Measurement Tool, inviting Climate Action Officers to provide their final feedback to enhance its applicability for sport organisations. With the project nearing completion, preparations for the Final Conference, set to take place on 13 May in Brussels, are now underway. In the meantime, Climate Action Officers will finalise their strategies and reconvene in March for the final Peer-to-peer Roundtable.
