European Commission and the Ministry for Youth and Sport of Ukraine further enhance cooperation

On 15 June, Margaritis Schinas, the Vice-President of the European Commission  and Vadym Guttsait, the Minister for Youth and Sport of Ukraine signed an arrangement to  further cooperation in the field of youth and sport, in the backdrop of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. From 2024, Ukrainian organisations will be able to take part in the Capacity Building Actions for Youth and Sport under the Erasmus+ programme, as it will be open to Eastern Partnership countries. In addition, annual webinars are expected to be organised, such as the one held on 7 March, to help strengthen cooperation between sports organisations in Ukraine and EU Member States under Erasmus+ programme.
