Climate Action Officers conclude Module 4 of the OCEAN Training Course

On 23 and 24 September, Climate Action Officers completed the remaining two sessions of Module 4 of the OCEAN Training Course. Inspired by the presentation from the International Biathlon Union, Climate Action Officers were tasked with identifying concrete measures for developing and implementing sustainable Travel policies. Furthermore, they were introduced to the topic of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) and the significant challenges that must be addressed before SAF can become a viable sustainable solution. The last session of the Training course shifted focus to sustainable Procurement policy, emphasising the importance of a well-designed procurement strategy and provided the tools to set guiding principles for its drafting and implementation. The 5th and last session of the Training Course will take place in December.
