EUROPEAN COMMISSION ANNOUNCES RESULTS FOR ERASMUS+ SPORT CALLS

The European, Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) has published the overall results of the evaluation of the Erasmus+ Sport Calls on the European Commission's Funding & Tenders Portal.

Applicants to the Calls for Partnerships for Cooperation (Cooperation Partnerships and Small-scale Partnerships)  and Not-For-Profit Sport Events have been informed accordingly throughout the week.

1295 applications were received this year for the Erasmus+ Sport Calls.

The Call for Cooperation Partnerships was the one receiving more applications, having 600 proposals been submitted. Out of these: 

  • 472 were evaluated above-threshold; 
  • Awarded proposals scored a minimum of 86 points;

Regarding the Call for Small-scale Partnerships

  • 585 proposals were submitted;
  • 395 proposals being evaluated as above-threshold;
  • Awarded proposals scored at least 81 points;  

Finally, for the Call for Not-For-Profit Sport Events:

  • 66 out of the 110 proposals submitted were evaluated as above-threshold;
  • Awarded proposals were required to score at least 88 points;

The EOC EU Office is pleased to announce that its project focusing on the improvement of gender equality in leadership and decision-making positions within the National Olympic Committees and member federations, has been selected for funding.

The project entitled GAMES (Guidance to Achieve More Equal Leadership in Sports) has partnered with 7 NOCs (Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Latvia, North Macedonia and Turkey) and renowned experts in the field of gender equality.

We would also like to congratulate all successful applicants and wish them great success in the projects implementation.

The EOC EU Office will have a detailed analysis of the results of the Erasmus+ Programme 2021 in the upcoming weeks, once the EACEA provides the listing of the projects approved.
