Internship at the EOC EU Office


The EOC EU Office provides the opportunity to complete internships for a period of 3 to 6 months. In this context the interns will have the opportunity to obtain an insight on sport and EU-related subjects.


  • Undergraduate degree / Intermediate examination
  • Proficient language skills in English. German and French are a plus.
  • Basic understanding of the EU institutional framework
  • Interest in European political matters
  • Knowledge about European Sports structures



One of the missions of the EOC EU office is to evaluate and analyse the relationship between European politics and legislation with regard to sport policy issues. Within this context, the tasks of the trainee will be to assist the office with monitoring European legislative procedures (in particular EU-Regulations and Directives), analysing the legal impact of EU policies in relation to sport as well as providing assistance and advice in EU funding programs. The international dimension of the internship is given due to the close relation of the EOC EU Office to the European Institutions and to partner organisations from all over Europe.
