LAUNCH ERASMUS CALL FOR PROPOSALS 2022

LAUNCH ERASMUS CALL FOR PROPOSALS 2022

The European Commission has published the Erasmus+ call for proposals 2022 and the accompanying Erasmus Programme Guide 2022 on the 24th of November. With an increased budget of nearly €3.9 billion for 2022 of which €51,89 million is allocated for sport in 2022 (compared to 41.7 million EUR in 2021).

A big innovation in the field of sport is the inclusion of "Capacity-building in the field of sport", which allows for international cooperation projects in the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro). This new call aspires to promote international cooperation projects between sport organisations in Programme countries and Third countries not associated to the Programme with the final aim being to boost educational tools and build cohesive communities.
In addition, cooperation partnerships, small partnerships and not-for-profit European sport events remain in the Erasmus Programme 2022.
The deadlines are foreseen in March-April 2022 as shown hereunder:

  • For Partnership projects and Not-for-profit European sports events: 23 March 2022 at 17:00h (CET)
  • For Capacity building in the field of Sport: 7 April 2022 at 17:00h (CET)

Please note: EU Member States and countries associated to the Erasmus+ Programme (Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey) can participate as the coordinator and partner of the project. Third countries not associated to the Erasmus+ Programme can only participate as partners.
The Erasmus Programme Guide is available in 23 languages on the European Commission website.
